BUMMER

Looks like the boats are staying home this weekend 4-8 foot seas predicted. Maybe October will be better. Our scheduled charters are ending September 30th but it doesn't mean the boat stops running. Check our web site often for charters in October.

Shark River Clean up 2006

This year marks are 11th year cleaning up the Shark River off of the L str beach in Belmar. So far we have picked up over 24,000 Lbs of debri and garbage. We have brought up many unusuall items over the years such as engine parts, jewlery, old bottles, a bowling ball, a floor sander, and even an old urn. I have been diving and snorkeling the river for over 30 years and it is nice not to see garbage every few feet. Unfortunatly it is a never ending task and we will probably be picking up another 10,000 lbs pounds over the next few years. Please join us to help keep one of the best inshore dive sites in New Jersey clean. We will be meeting at 7:00am at the Belmar Marina near the boat ramp on Saturday, September 23rd. Splash time is at 8:30am. Lets hope mother nature stops sending the storms our way so the vis gets better.
